2024 Dads and Sons Camping Trip

It is already that time again! We are having our annual camping trip for dads and sons. Even if you aren’t a dad but would like to come or if you want to bring/invite other dads and boys, you are welcome to do so.

Activities:

Friday: 3:00 PM Set-up tents, etc…, free time

6:00 PM Dinner: Tacos (ground beef and ground turkey), soft shells, hard shells, red beans, white and yellow rice, corn, and chips and salsa

7:30 PM Devotions and prayer

8:15 PM Smores around the campfire

11:00 PM Lights Out

*Note: If you want to camp Saturday night too, please let me know.

Saturday: 8:00 AM Breakfast (Eggs, bacon, sausage, grits, pancakes)

8:45 AM Devotions and prayer

9:45 AM Activities including: fishing, canoeing, ball games, etc…..

12:30 PM Lunch (sandwiches, leftovers)

1:00 PM Clean-up, pack-up, etc…

2:00 PM Free time, depart at leisure

*If you plan to stay over until Sunday, you are on your own for food (there may be some left-overs that we can share). We will have morning devotion and prayer time on Sunday.

What to Bring: Tent, sleeping bags, camping chairs, pillows, change of clothes (in case you get wet), bathing suits, towels, soap, shampoo, bug spray, sunscreen, fishing gear (if you have it), and flashlight.

Note: If you don’t like to camp outside, there are bunks available, as well. Please bring your own bedding including pillow, etc…

Cost: $10/individual or $20/family which includes camping, Friday night dinner and smores and Saturday breakfast and lunch.
